Trellia MPM Platform - Overview

Trellia's Mobile Policy Management (MPM) Platform empowers the mobile workforce with “Zero-click” connectivity through automation and centralized enforcement of mobile access and related policies - reducing cost, enhancing security and maximizing the overall return on investment of mobile initiatives. It enables enterprises to leverage one solution to centrally control mobile workforce connectivity, across public, private, wired and wireless networks and transform mobile access into an efficient, policy-driven process.

Trellia's MPM Platform is a software solution comprised of an MPM Server and MPM Agents:

• MPM Agents reside on the laptop or tablet PCs of your mobile workers; automating mobile access while enforcing mobile access policies. The MPM Agent manages all device connectivity to LAN, Wi-Fi or 3G and automatically applies and enforces relevant access policies as defined by IT. It ensures that mobile workers always have effortless, “Zero-Click” connectivity to the best available network for easy access to corporate data and applications.
• Trellia's MPM Server can reside on a dedicated server, an IT administrator's laptop or be hosted by Trellia. The MPM Server enables IT to define and publish mobile access policies to the MPM Agents regardless of their location. As a result, IT gains centralized control of mobile workforce connectivity. Through the MPM Server IT can define which networks mobile workers are authorized to use, define an order of priority for use and assign, automate and enforce relevant access policies for each network. The MPM Server features “Plug-ins” that deliver a host of respective policies and functionality out-of-the-box.
